LANDYINDUS F-CFL2439 Adjustable Spreader Beam | 9.0T SWL | Crane & Forklift Dual Use | Heavy Duty
The LANDYINDUS F-CFL2439 is a 9,000 kg (9.0T) capacity adjustable spreader beam engineered for the heavy-duty lifting of long, oversized, and awkward loads across both crane and forklift operations.
As a true dual-use lifting beam, the F-CFL2439 eliminates the need for separate crane and forklift lifting equipment, delivering exceptional versatility and cost efficiency for steel fabrication, construction, manufacturing, and heavy logistics environments where load types and lifting methods vary daily.
Dual Crane Modes: Lifting Beam vs. Spreader Beam
When suspended from a crane, the F-CFL2439 can operate in two distinct modes depending on the rigging setup:
- As a Lifting Beam: Loads are suspended from the central single hook point for balanced, single-point lifts.
- As a Spreader Beam: End-lifted using a two-leg chain sling attached to the crane hook. This distributes the lifting force evenly across the full span of the beam, preventing inward crushing forces that can distort or damage long loads like structural steel, precast concrete panels, or long pipe sections during the lift.
Forklift Mode: Long Load Stability
When used with a forklift, the built-in 600 mm long slipper pockets allow for a fast, secure connection directly to the forklift tines. This enables the forklift to pick up and transport long, drooping loads (like timber packs, rebar bundles, or steel extrusions) horizontally with full stability, without the ends dragging on the ground or requiring a crane mobilisation.
The massive 200 × 100 mm fork pockets are spaced at an ultra-wide 950 mm pocket centre spacing, ensuring absolute lateral stability and compatibility with heavy-duty forklift carriages.
Adjustable Extendable Arms & Swivel Hooks
The extendable arms at each end of the F-CFL2439 are adjustable to three different positions. This allows operators to perfectly match the spreader beam span to the specific load width or lifting point requirements of each job, ensuring the rigging chains hang perfectly vertical.
Both arms are locked securely into position via heavy-duty safety pins. The unit is supplied as standard with a premium safety swivel hook at each end to prevent load rotation and chain twist during lifts, ensuring safe, controlled handling throughout every operation.

Technical Drawing

1. Forklift Pocket & Width Verification: When using this attachment in forklift mode, verify your forklift tines will fit within the massive 200×100mm pockets and can be spread to match the extreme 950mm pocket centres.
2. Load De-rating (Forklift Mode): Extending the arms shifts the load centre outwards and alters the lifting dynamics. You MUST consult the load chart on the attachment and cross-reference it with your forklift's de-rated capacity chart before lifting.
3. Safety Pin Verification: Both extendable arms must be securely locked into position using the provided safety pins before applying load tension to the beam.
