Product Overview
Need a fast, hands-free way to empty demolition debris and site rubble without tipping? The LANDYINDUS Drop Bottom Bin features a draw-rope release with built-in shock absorption and 1,000kg SWL.
The LANDYINDUS Drop Bottom Bin (Drop Base Skip) is a heavy-duty construction waste bin designed for efficient collection and rapid disposal of solid waste, rubble, masonry debris, and manufacturing offcuts on construction, demolition, and industrial sites. Purpose-built for dual handling, it can be transported and elevated by either forklift or overhead crane for complete operational flexibility.
Core Selling Points
- Draw-Rope Drop Bottom Release: Pull the lanyard handle from a safe distance to trigger the bottom door, cleanly discharging contents downward without manual shovelling or tipping.
- Integrated Shock Absorption: Built-in shock absorbing system cushions impact loads during floor release, protecting your forklift mast and crane rigging from sudden shock stress.
- 3 Scalable Capacities (0.5m³, 0.8m³, 1.1m³): Available in three versatile volume tiers, all rated to a heavy-duty 1,000kg Safe Working Load (SWL).
- Dual Crane & Forklift Mobility: Fitted with 4-corner crane lifting lugs and underslung fork pockets (160×110mm, 684mm centres) with a tough, corrosion-resistant enamel painted finish.

⚠️ Safety & Compatibility Warnings
- CRUSH HAZARD — DISCHARGE DROP ZONE: Never stand, walk, or place limbs directly beneath the bin during dumping. Ensure operators pull the draw rope from a designated safe distance.
- Latch Verification Before Loading: Always visually verify that the drop-bottom base is fully closed, engaged, and securely latched before placing any debris into the bin.
- Safe Working Load (1000kg): Never exceed the rated 1,000kg SWL limit. When loading heavy concrete chunks, wet soil, or steel offcuts, monitor gross density.
- Rigging & Fork Engagement: Forklift tines must match the 160×110mm pockets (684mm centres) and be secured with safety chains. Crane lifting requires a certified 4-leg chain sling assembly.
