The LANDYINDUS E-GB Excavator Tiltrotator Grading Bucket is a precision-engineered finishing and grading attachment purpose-designed for use with tiltrotator coupler systems — the rotating, tilting quick hitch systems manufactured by Steelwrist, Engcon, Rototilt, and other leading tiltrotator brands that allow the excavator bucket to rotate 360° and tilt up to 45° from the dipper arm. Available in four width configurations from 1,200mm to 1,600mm and compatible with excavators from 2 tonnes to 14 tonnes across the S40 to S60 bracket range.
Why a Standard Grading Bucket Fails on a Tiltrotator — And Why the E-GB’s 16° Mounting Angle Solves It
The most critical engineering feature of the E-GB is the custom 16-degree angle between the mounting surface and the bucket base — a geometry not present in standard grading buckets designed for conventional fixed or pin-on coupler use.
When a standard bucket (0° mounting angle) is fitted to a tiltrotator and rotated to grade at an angle to the machine’s centreline, the bucket base does not remain parallel to the grading surface as the tiltrotator rotates — creating a wedging effect that causes the leading edge to dig in on one side and lift on the other, producing an uneven grade finish that requires multiple corrective passes.
The 16° mounting angle of the E-GB compensates for the geometric offset introduced by the tiltrotator’s rotation axis, ensuring that the bucket base remains consistently parallel to the grading surface across the full tiltrotator rotation range — enabling the operator to achieve a flat, accurate grade finish in a single pass at any working angle.

The chamfered corners of the E-GB extend from the base to the top edge on both sides, reducing the corner sweep radius during tiltrotator rotation. When a standard bucket with square corners is rotated adjacent to building walls, kerbs, retaining structures, or underground service markers, the square corners sweep a larger arc than the bucket face — creating a collision risk that leaves an ungraded strip requiring hand finishing.
The chamfered corners allow the operator to grade significantly closer to adjacent structures without collision risk, eliminating or minimising the hand-finishing strip and reducing total time in building footprints, basement excavations, road kerb lines, and landscaped areas with fixed boundary features.

The conical bucket body widens progressively from the cutting edge to the back, creating a funnel effect that guides loose material into the bucket during filling rather than allowing it to spill over the sides — a significant advantage during grading operations where the bucket is repeatedly skimming thin layers of material and the volume per pass is low relative to bucket capacity.
