LANDYINDUS F-FJCL45 Fixed Long Jib Boom | 4.5T Heavy-Duty SWL | 3.46m Max Reach | Zinc Plated | Slip-On

The LANDYINDUS F-FJCL45 Fixed Long Jib Boom is a heavy-duty 4,500 kg (4.5T) capacity forklift jib attachment engineered for general-purpose long-reach lifting in construction, industrial, and logistics environments.

This fork-mounted jib boom is purpose-built for accessing load zones that the forklift itself cannot reach — including lifting across pits, trenches, elevated platforms, restricted access areas, and loading bays where direct forklift approach is obstructed or unsafe.

3.46m Extended Reach | Exceptional Reach-to-Weight Ratio

With a maximum extended reach of 3.46 metres and a compact retracted length of just 2.03 metres, the inner boom slides out to give you massive horizontal clearance when you need it, while staying compact for easy yard manoeuvring.

Measuring 2,035 × 490 × 240 mm in its retracted configuration and weighing just 145 kg, the F-FJCL45 offers an exceptional reach-to-weight ratio for a 4.5-tonne class jib attachment, preserving the maximum possible lifting capacity of your host forklift.

Fixed Angle Design — High-Volume Reliability

Unlike our tilting models, the F-FJCL45 operates as a fixed-angle jib. It delivers a highly stable, rigid lifting geometry that is ideal for straight vertical lifts, overhead placements, and precision load positioning tasks where a consistent, level boom angle is preferred over adjustable tilt configurations.

The fixed design simplifies operator training, reduces mechanical complexity, and provides a reliable, low-maintenance lifting solution for sites that require consistent, repeatable lift performance across high-volume daily cycles.

Tool-Free Slip-On Installation

Featuring a fork-mounted slip-on design, the F-FJCL45 installs directly onto standard forklift forks without welding, drilling, or permanent modification to the host machine. The attachment slides over the tines (accommodating up to 185×65mm forks at 290mm centres) and must be secured to the carriage via a heavy-duty safety chain.

This slip-on mounting system allows for rapid attachment and removal across multiple forklift units, minimising equipment changeover time on busy sites where the jib is shared between machines.

Premium Zinc Plated Finish

Finished with a durable zinc plated coating, the 4.5-tonne fixed long jib is built to withstand outdoor exposure, moisture, and the corrosive conditions common to construction yards, quarry sites, port facilities, and open-air industrial environments. The zinc finish provides long-term structural protection that significantly outlasts standard painted steel alternatives.

Applications

  • Construction & Quarries — lifting structural steel and equipment over trenches or barriers
  • Industrial Logistics — loading/unloading flatbed trucks from one side
  • Manufacturing — reliable, fixed-angle straight vertical lifts for heavy dies and motors
  • Fleet Operations — a robust, low-maintenance shared asset for multiple forklifts

Technical Drawing

⚠️ Critical Safety & Lifting Notes:
1. Severe Leverage & Load De-rating: A 3.46-metre reach combined with a 4.5T rating creates massive leverage. The 4.5T SWL applies ONLY when the jib is fully retracted. As the jib extends outward, the lifting capacity drops drastically. You MUST consult the load chart on the attachment and cross-reference it with your forklift's de-rated capacity chart before lifting.
2. Safety Chain Requirement: The safety chain must be wrapped around the forklift carriage and secured tightly before lifting. Operating a slip-on jib without the safety chain engaged is strictly prohibited.
3. Pocket Size Verification: This is a heavy-duty attachment. Verify your forklift tines will fit within the 185×65mm pockets and can be adjusted to 290mm centres.
