LANDYINDUS F-FJL5 Fixed Long Jib Boom | 5.0T Heavy-Duty SWL | 3.5m Max Reach | Zinc Plated | Slip-On
The LANDYINDUS F-FJL5 Fixed Long Jib Boom is the highest-capacity forklift jib attachment in our range, engineered for heavy-duty long-reach lifting operations across construction, mining, port, and large-scale industrial environments.
Rated at a massive 5,000 kg (5.0T) safe working load (SWL), this fixed long jib delivers the structural strength and reach capability needed for the most demanding overhead lifting tasks — where lower-capacity jib attachments cannot safely perform.
3.5m Extended Reach | 5-Tonne Lifting Power
Featuring a maximum extended reach of 3.5 metres with a compact retracted length of 2.1 metres (2,100mm), this jib provides the extreme horizontal clearance required to lift heavy loads over trenches, reach into shipping containers, or place precast concrete across large spans.
Despite its massive 5-tonne lifting capability, the F-FJL5 weighs just 170kg. This exceptional strength-to-weight ratio ensures that the maximum possible lifting capacity of your 5-tonne host forklift is preserved for the payload itself.
Fixed Angle Design — Maximum Structural Rigidity
As a fixed long jib, the F-FJL5 delivers a highly stable, rigid lifting geometry that is ideal for straight vertical lifts, overhead placements, and precision load positioning. In heavy-duty environments like port loading and precast concrete handling, consistent boom angle and maximum structural rigidity are prioritised over adjustable tilt functionality.
The fixed design eliminates mechanical complexity, simplifies operator training, and provides a reliable, low-maintenance lifting solution for high-frequency operational environments.
Tool-Free Slip-On Installation with Safety Chain
The fork-mounted slip-on design allows the F-FJL5 to install directly onto standard forklift forks without welding, drilling, or permanent modification to the host machine. It features oversized 185×75mm fork pockets set at 275mm centres to accommodate the thicker, wider tines standard on 5-tonne class forklifts.
The attachment is secured by a heavy-duty safety chain retention system. This provides a critical secondary securing point during operation, preventing accidental jib displacement under dynamic load conditions and ensuring operator safety throughout the full lift-and-place cycle.
Premium Zinc Plated Finish
Finished with a durable zinc plated coating, the 5-tonne fixed long jib is built to withstand the harshest outdoor industrial conditions. It provides long-term corrosion resistance against prolonged exposure to moisture, salt air, chemicals, and abrasive environments common to port facilities, coastal construction sites, and open-air mining operations.

Technical Drawing

1. Severe Leverage & Load De-rating: A 3.5-metre reach combined with a 5.0T rating creates massive leverage. The 5.0T SWL applies ONLY when the jib is fully retracted. As the jib extends outward, the lifting capacity drops drastically. You MUST consult the load chart on the attachment and cross-reference it with your forklift's de-rated capacity chart before lifting.
2. Safety Chain Requirement: The safety chain must be wrapped around the forklift carriage and secured tightly before lifting. Operating a slip-on jib without the safety chain engaged is strictly prohibited.
3. Heavy-Duty Pocket Size: This is a 5T attachment. Verify your forklift tines will fit within the oversized 185×75mm pockets and can be adjusted to 275mm centres. Do not attempt to use this on standard light-duty forklifts.
