LANDYINDUS F-FJS5 Fixed Short Jib Boom | 5.0T Heavy-Duty SWL | 1.96m Max Reach | Zinc Plated | Compact Slip-On
The LANDYINDUS F-FJS5 Fixed Short Jib Boom is the highest-capacity compact forklift jib attachment in our range, delivering a massive 5,000 kg (5.0T) safe working load (SWL) within a space-efficient profile purpose-built for confined spaces, indoor facilities, and tight operational environments.
As the top-capacity model in our fixed short jib series, the F-FJS5 is engineered for operations that demand the highest lifting capability in a compact attachment format — including heavy machinery component handling, large-format equipment maintenance, and industrial assembly tasks where available floor space restricts the use of longer boom attachments.
Compact 1.96m Reach — 5-Tonne Lifting in Tight Spaces
With a maximum extended reach of 1.96 metres and a retracted length of just 1.3 metres (1,300 mm), this 5-tonne short fixed jib provides heavy-duty crane-style lifting capability in workshops, warehouses, manufacturing floors, and narrow-aisle facilities where full-length jib booms (like our 3.5m F-FJL5) cannot safely manoeuvre.
The fixed jib design delivers a stable, rigid lifting geometry that simplifies operator training, eliminates mechanical complexity, and ensures consistent, repeatable lift performance across high-frequency operational cycles.
Highest Capacity-to-Footprint Ratio
Measuring 1,300 × 475 × 500 mm and weighing just 120 kg, the F-FJS5 offers the highest capacity-to-footprint ratio in our forklift jib attachment range. It minimizes added stress on the host forklift, ensuring the machine's maximum lifting capability is preserved for the payload rather than wasted on lifting a heavy attachment.
Tool-Free Slip-On Installation with Safety Chain
Featuring a slip-on mounting design, the F-FJS5 installs directly onto standard forklift forks in minutes — no welding, no drilling, and no permanent modification to the host machine.
The 185 × 75 mm pocket size and 275 mm pocket centres ensure broad compatibility with the thicker, heavier standard forklift tines found on 5-tonne class machines. A heavy-duty safety chain retention system provides a critical secondary securing point, preventing accidental jib displacement under dynamic load conditions or sudden braking.
Premium Zinc Plated Finish
Finished with a durable zinc plated coating, the 5-tonne short fixed jib is built to resist corrosion and surface degradation across both indoor and outdoor operational environments. It provides reliable long-term protection against moisture, chemical exposure, and general abrasion — significantly extending service life compared to standard painted steel alternatives.

Specifications
| Model | SWL | Dimensions L×W×H (mm) | Fork Pocket (mm) | Pocket Centres (mm) | Weight (kg) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| F-FJS5 | 5.0T | 1,300×475×500 | 185×75 | 275 | 120 |
For operations requiring greater reach at the same 5-tonne capacity, consider our F-FJL5 fixed long jib (3.5m reach).
Technical Drawing

1. Leverage & Load De-rating: Even with a shorter 1.96-metre reach, extending the jib shifts the load centre. The 5.0T SWL rating applies ONLY when the jib is fully retracted. You MUST consult the load chart on the attachment and cross-reference it with your forklift's de-rated capacity chart before lifting.
2. Safety Chain Requirement: The safety chain must be wrapped around the forklift carriage and secured tightly before lifting. Operating a slip-on jib without the safety chain engaged is strictly prohibited.
3. Heavy-Duty Pocket Size: This is a 5T attachment. Verify your forklift tines will fit within the oversized 185×75mm pockets and can be adjusted to 275mm centres. Do not attempt to use this on standard light-duty forklifts.
