LANDYINDUS F-HCT Series Forklift Fork Extension Slippers | 2,500–8,000kg SWL | 1,600–3,000mm Length | High-Tensile Steel | Locking Pins Included | AS2359.15 Compliant | Galvanized & Paint Finish Options

The LANDYINDUS F-HCT Series Forklift Fork Extension Slippers are a comprehensive range of high-tensile steel fork extenders engineered to extend the reach and load-handling versatility of standard forklift tines across warehouses, construction sites, timber yards, steel fabrication facilities, logistics centres, and heavy industrial operations. Covering the full spectrum from 2,500kg light-industrial to 8,000kg heavy-duty applications, the F-HCT series allows operators to select the precise combination of load capacity and reach extension required.

Progressive Steel Thickness — 5mm to 8mm, Optimised for Rated Load

Manufactured from high-tensile grade steel, the F-HCT series features progressive main plate thickness across the SWL range to ensure exceptional rigidity and resistance to bending under maximum rated load, while minimising unnecessary weight added to the forklift carriage:

  • 2,500kg & 3,000kg Models (F-HCT1 & F-HCT2): 5mm plate
  • 5,000kg Models (F-HCT3): 6mm plate
  • 8,000kg Models (F-HCT4): 8mm heavy-duty plate

Slim-Profile Channel Design — Maximum Reach, Minimum Racking Interference

The slim-profile channel design maintains a low-profile cross-section relative to the load-bearing capacity. This geometry minimises the reduction in operator sightlines during use and improves clearance when entering tight racking systems and dense storage bays — a critical advantage in high-density warehouse environments where precise fork positioning is required for safe pallet placement and retrieval.

Locking Pins Included — Positive Mechanical Interlock

Every fork extension slipper is supplied with locking pins as standard. The locking pin provides a positive mechanical interlock behind the heel of the host tine, securing the extension firmly to the forklift during operation and preventing accidental disengagement under dynamic load conditions. This eliminates the slippage risk associated with friction-fit or unsecured fork extensions when reversing from under loads or braking sharply.

AS2359.15 Compliance & The 167% Rule

Designed and manufactured in compliance with AS2359.15 (the standard governing forklift attachments and fork extensions). Critical Safety Rule: In accordance with AS2359.15, fork extensions used for general applications must not exceed 167% of the supporting host tine length. Extensions longer than 167% of the host tine are rated for specified applications only. Always measure your existing forklift tines to ensure the chosen extension length complies with the 167% rule before use.

Galvanized & Paint Finish Options

Available in both galvanized and painted finish options. The galvanized finish provides superior corrosion resistance for outdoor storage yards, humid warehouses, and coastal industrial environments, while the painted finish offers a cost-effective solution for indoor applications where corrosion exposure is minimal.

Applications

  • Warehouses & distribution — deep racking bay access, double-deep pallet retrieval
  • Timber & steel yards — long timber packs, structural steel sections, oversized loads
  • Construction sites — heavy equipment and material staging
  • Manufacturing facilities — handling oversized production components

Key Features

  • 2,500–8,000kg SWL — light industrial to heavy-duty capacity
  • 1,600–3,000mm lengths — precise reach extension for any application
  • High-tensile steel construction — 5mm, 6mm, or 8mm plate matched to rated load

⚠️ Critical Selection & Safety Rules (AS2359.15):
1. The 167% Rule: Measure your existing forklift tines. The extension slipper length must not exceed 167% of the supporting host tine length for general applications. E.g., a 1,200mm host tine supports a maximum extension length of 2,004mm (1,200 × 1.67).
2. Pocket Size Clearance: The inner pocket dimensions of the slipper must exceed the outer dimensions of your host tine. Confirm host tine width and thickness before ordering.
3. Load Capacity De-rating: Fork extensions push the load centre further from the forklift carriage, significantly reducing the effective lifting capacity of the forklift. Consult your forklift manufacturer's load chart for extended load centres before lifting.
4. Always insert locking pins and secure before use.
