LANDYINDUS F-FJL2.5 Fixed Long Jib Boom | 2.5T SWL | 3.52m Extension Reach | Galvanized Slip-On Design | Forklift Crane Attachment
The LANDYINDUS F-FJL2.5 Fixed Long Jib is a heavy-duty forklift jib boom attachment engineered for long-reach lifting operations where standard pallet forks cannot access the load zone. With a massive 3.52-metre extension reach and a 2.5-tonne safe working load (SWL), this attachment transforms a standard counterbalance forklift into a highly capable mobile crane.
This long jib enables operators to lift, position, and place loads well beyond the forklift's standard reach envelope — making it an essential attachment for construction sites, warehouses, manufacturing facilities, and equipment yards requiring extended vertical and horizontal reach capability.
3.52m Extended Reach — Access Hard-to-Reach Loads
The F-FJL2.5 provides the extreme clearance needed for complex lifting tasks that are impossible with standard forks. Its 3.52-metre extended reach allows operators to:
- Lift loads over barriers, fences, or trenches on construction sites
- Reach deep into the back of shipping containers, vans, or covered trucks
- Place materials precisely at height or onto mezzanines
- Lift awkward or bulky loads that cannot be palletised
Despite its massive reach, the jib features a retracted overall length of 2.1 metres (2,100mm), ensuring the attachment remains compact and manoeuvrable when navigating tight warehouse aisles or confined yard spaces.
Tool-Free Slip-On Design with Safety Chain
Featuring a slip-on design, the FJL2.5 jib boom slides directly onto standard forklift forks, eliminating the need for permanent mounting hardware, carriage modification, or workshop downtime. It features generous 185×65mm fork pockets set at 275mm centres, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of standard forklift tine profiles.
Once positioned, the attachment is secured firmly to the forklift carriage with a heavy-duty safety chain. This mechanical interlock prevents the jib from sliding forward during sudden braking, load swing, or downward tilting.
Premium Galvanized Finish — Built for the Outdoors
Unlike standard painted steel attachments that quickly rust when scratched or exposed to the elements, the F-FJL2.5 is finished with a durable hot-dip galvanized coating. This provides superior protection against moisture, salt, and the corrosive conditions common to construction yards, ports, and open-air industrial environments. The galvanized finish significantly extends the service life of the attachment and protects the structural integrity of the jib under repeated heavy-load cycles.
Applications
- Construction Sites — lifting structural steel, timber, and equipment over obstacles
- Logistics & Shipping — reaching deep into containers to extract unpalletised cargo
- Manufacturing — positioning heavy machinery, dies, and motors
- Equipment Yards — cost-effective alternative to hiring dedicated mobile cranes

Technical Drawing

1. Leverage & Load De-rating: A 3.52-metre reach creates massive leverage against the forklift. A 2.5T SWL rating at the base of the jib will be drastically reduced to a fraction of that capacity at the full 3.52m extension. You MUST consult the load chart on the attachment and cross-reference it with your forklift's de-rated capacity chart before lifting.
2. Safety Chain Requirement: The safety chain must be wrapped around the forklift carriage and secured tightly before lifting. Operating a slip-on jib without the safety chain engaged is strictly prohibited and extremely dangerous.
3. Pocket Size Verification: Verify your forklift tines will fit within the 185×65mm pockets and can be adjusted to 275mm centres.
