LANDYINDUS F-FJS2.5 Fixed Short Jib Boom | 2.5T SWL | 1.96m Extension Reach | Zinc Plated Slip-On Design | Compact Forklift Crane
The LANDYINDUS F-FJS2.5 Fixed Short Jib is a compact, heavy-duty forklift jib boom attachment designed to provide additional lifting height and extended reach in space-constrained environments where a full-length jib is impractical. With a 2.5-tonne (2,500kg) safe working load, this short jib delivers reliable crane-style lifting capability directly from your existing forklift — without the cost or complexity of dedicated lifting equipment.
1.96m Extended Reach — Agile & Compact for Indoor Use
Retracting to just 1.3 metres (1,300mm) for easy storage and transport, the F-FJS2.5 extends up to 1.96 metres in operation. This provides a practical reach increase perfectly suited to loading docks, indoor warehouses, manufacturing floors, and tight yard environments where a long jib boom (like our 3.52m F-FJL series) cannot manoeuvre safely due to swing radius limits.
The compact profile ensures the attachment remains highly agile and easy to position, making it ideal for delicate indoor lifts, such as positioning heavy electric motors, extracting dies from injection moulding machines, or loading awkward cargo into enclosed vans.
Raised Extension Beam — Maximised Vertical Clearance
A key structural advantage of the F-FJS2.5 is its raised extension beam design. The main lifting beam is engineered to sit above the height of the fork pockets. This geometry maximises the usable vertical lift height, providing extra clearance for tall loads or when lifting over high-sided bins and barriers, without requiring the forklift mast to extend to its absolute limits.
Tool-Free Slip-On Design | Lightweight 100kg Profile
Weighing just 100kg, the F-FJS2.5 is one of the lightest and most compact forklift jib attachments in its capacity class, ensuring minimal load de-rating on the host forklift.
The slip-on mounting design allows for fast, tool-free installation. It features 185×65mm fork pockets set at 275mm centres, sliding directly over standard forklift tines in seconds. The attachment is secured firmly to the forklift carriage with a heavy-duty safety chain, minimising downtime between attachment changes on busy operational sites.
Premium Zinc Plated Finish
Finished with a durable zinc plated coating, the fixed short jib is built to resist corrosion and surface degradation in both indoor and outdoor operational environments. The zinc finish provides long-term protection against moisture, chemical exposure, and general wear — significantly extending the service life compared to standard painted alternatives.

Technical Drawing

1. Leverage & Load De-rating: Although shorter than a long jib, lifting a load at the 1.96m maximum extension still creates significant leverage that reduces the lifting capacity of your forklift. You MUST consult the load chart on the attachment and cross-reference it with your forklift's de-rated capacity chart before lifting.
2. Safety Chain Requirement: The safety chain must be wrapped around the forklift carriage and secured tightly before lifting. Operating a slip-on jib without the safety chain engaged is strictly prohibited.
3. Pocket Size Verification: Verify your forklift tines will fit within the 185×65mm pockets and can be adjusted to 275mm centres.
