Two 3″ × 6″ Hydraulic Cylinders | Double Cylinder Rotating Base — Swing Pole from Horizontal to Vertical with Precision & Control

Clamping force is delivered by two 3-inch × 6-inch hydraulic cylinders — significantly larger than standard pole setter cylinders — providing the clamping force required for heavy utility and power poles. The double cylinder rotating base allows the operator to swing the pole from horizontal to vertical with precision and control from the cab. The attachment features two independent jaws that open and close in sequence, keeping the pole locked and stable throughout every phase of the lift, rotate, and placement cycle.

½" Grade 80+ Steel | Integrated Backing Plate — Maximum Durability, Pole Held Above Machine During Transport

The entire structure is fabricated from ½-inch Grade 80 or higher steel for maximum durability under continuous heavy-use conditions. The integrated backing plate holds the pole above the skid steer during transport, minimising swing and movement — a critical safety feature when transporting long, heavy poles across active job sites. Rubber lining on each jaw protects the pole surface from damage during clamping.

With an opening range of 125–520mm, this heavy-duty pole setter accommodates a significantly wider range of pole diameters than the standard S-PS540 (75–355mm) — covering large-diameter utility poles, power poles, and heavy structural posts. Operating at 16 MPa with a hydraulic flow requirement of 60 LPM, the S-HDPS610 integrates seamlessly with most standard skid steer hydraulic systems.
