The LANDYINDUS Hydraulic Dual-Cylinder Fork Waste Grab is a heavy-duty forklift attachment engineered for smooth, stable, and high-retention handling of loose scrap iron, scrap metal fragments, waste paper bales, and mixed industrial waste. Covering Class 3A forklifts from 3 tonnes to 4.5 tonnes across six model configurations, this dual-cylinder waste grab provides the broadest capability in our fork-grab range, making it the most versatile solution for operations running mixed forklift fleets.

Dual-Cylinder Actuation — Balanced Closure & Anti-Twist Stability

The dual-cylinder hydraulic actuation system is the defining performance advantage of this grab over standard single-cylinder configurations.

While a single-cylinder grab applies claw closing force from one central actuation point, the dual-cylinder system applies simultaneous, balanced closing force from two independent hydraulic cylinders positioned symmetrically across the grab frame. This generates a more even, controlled closure that distributes clamping force uniformly across both sides of the material load.

This balanced dual-cylinder closure eliminates the lateral load shift and uneven jaw engagement that can occur when handling asymmetric or irregularly distributed material loads (such as lopsided scrap metal piles). It prevents the top-claw from twisting under heavy, uneven loads, resulting in a stable, complete grip on every grab cycle.

1,500mm Wide Fork Frame — Broader Material Capture

The 1,500mm wide fork frame is the second structural advantage that differentiates this grab from narrower single-cylinder models. The wider frame provides a broader base of support for the claw assembly, dramatically increasing the lateral stability of the grab.

Crucially, the wider frame increases the effective jaw engagement width, allowing the grab to envelop a larger cross-section of a material pile in a single approach. This reduces the number of repositioning cycles required to collect a full grab load from wide, spread-out scrap accumulations.

Fork-Penetration-First Action & Hydraulic Tilt

Like the single-cylinder model, this attachment utilises a fork-penetration-first action — driving the tines into the base of the material pile before closing the top claw. This is essential for penetrating dense waste paper bales and compacted scrap.

The integrated hydraulic tilt function delivers 45° of forward tilt and 25° of backward tilt, controlled from the forklift cab:

  • Tilt Backward (25°): Retains loose scrap fragments securely against the carriage during travel across uneven yard surfaces.
  • Tilt Forward (45°): Enables precise angular deposit of collected waste into shredders or transport vehicles without manual repositioning.

Hydraulic Integration | 16 MPa / 60 LPM

The two-circuit hydraulic system operates at a working pressure of 16 MPa with a flow requirement of 60 LPM, compatible with the auxiliary hydraulic circuits of standard Class 3A counterbalance forklifts. Two auxiliary hydraulic circuits (3rd and 4th valves) are required to operate both the grab and tilt functions.
