LANDYINDUS E-LS25 Hydraulic Inverted Log Splitter | 25-Ton (25,000kg) Splitting Force | 650mm Max Log Length | Fully Cab-Operated — Operator Never Leaves the Seat | S45 Universal & Combi Bracket | 4–6T | 16 MPa | 60 LPM | 212kg

The LANDYINDUS E-LS25 Hydraulic Inverted Log Splitter is a professional-grade excavator-mounted wood splitting attachment delivering 25 tons (25,000kg) of hydraulic splitting force to process logs up to 650mm in length directly on the ground — all from the safety and comfort of the excavator cab without the operator ever leaving the seat.

Fully Cab-Operated — Operator Never Leaves the Seat, Zero Ground-Level Exposure

The E-LS25 eliminates the manual handling risks associated with traditional stand-alone log splitters by allowing the operator to use the excavator arm to position each log, lower the inverted splitter over it, and engage the auxiliary hydraulics to split firewood, timber sections, and hardwood rounds in a single controlled motion — with no ground-level exposure to flying debris or moving parts. On a conventional log splitter, the operator stands at ground level, manually loads each log, and is exposed to split debris and the splitting mechanism throughout the operation. The E-LS25 moves the operator 2–3 metres above the work zone inside a protected cab.

25-Ton Splitting Force — Oak, Ash, Elm, Pine and Hardwood Species

The hydraulic system operates at 16 MPa with a flow rate of 60 LPM, providing consistent, high-force splitting performance across softwood and hardwood species including oak, ash, elm, and pine. At 25,000kg of splitting force, the E-LS25 handles the most demanding hardwood rounds that would stall or damage lower-capacity splitters, making it equally effective for firewood production, post-harvest timber processing, land clearing debris management, and forestry site cleanup after felling and limbing work.

Inverted Splitter Design — Lower Over Log, Split, Lift and Relocate Without Resetting

The inverted design allows the operator to position the splitter over a log, apply pressure to initiate the split, then lift and relocate to the next log without resetting — significantly increasing splitting throughput on large timber processing and land clearing jobs where logs are scattered across a wide work area. Conventional upright splitters require the operator to manually load each log onto the splitting beam before each cycle; the inverted excavator-mounted design reverses this — the splitter comes to the log, not the log to the splitter.

E-LS25 vs Conventional Stand-Alone Log Splitter — Safety, Throughput and Operator Efficiency

Feature Conventional Stand-Alone Splitter E-LS25 Inverted Excavator Splitter (This)
Operator position Ground level — manual log loading Excavator cab — 2–3m above work zone
Ground-level exposure High — flying debris, moving parts Zero — fully cab-operated
Log loading Manual — operator lifts each log Excavator arm positions log or splitter
Scattered log handling Slow — carry each log to splitter Drive to each log, split in place
Splitting force Varies — typically 7–15 ton 25 ton — hardwood capable
Hardwood (oak, ash, elm) Often struggles at <15 ton 25 ton — consistent hardwood performance
Reset between splits Required — manual reload Lift and relocate — no reset
Operator fatigue High — manual handling, bending None — seated cab operation

Universal Bracket Compatibility — S30–S70 & Combi Bracket, All Makes and Models

Compatible with all makes and models of excavators equipped with a universal S30–S70 bracket hitch or a combi bracket hitch, the E-LS25 installs quickly without custom adapters and integrates directly with the excavator’s existing auxiliary hydraulic circuit for immediate deployment on site. The S45 bracket configuration is optimised for 4–6 ton excavators — the ideal weight class for the E-LS25’s 25-ton splitting force and 212kg attachment weight.

Applications

  • Firewood production — high-throughput splitting, cab-operated, no manual handling
