LANDYINDUS Hydraulic Rake Grab Forklift Attachment | 45° Tilt Mechanism | Harrow-Tooth Penetration | Class 3A (3–4.5T) | Bucket Option | Requires 3 Auxiliary Hydraulic Circuits | Construction, Demolition & Agriculture
The LANDYINDUS Hydraulic Rake Grab is a heavy-duty multi-function forklift attachment engineered to combine the material penetration capability of a harrow-tooth rake grab with the controlled tilting precision of a hydraulic tilt mechanism. Available in Class 3A configurations for 3–4.5 tonne forklifts, this attachment transforms a standard counterbalance forklift into a multi-function material handling machine capable of excavating, grabbing, tilting, and optionally scooping without the need for dedicated excavators or wheel loaders.
Harrow-Tooth Rake — Self-Penetrating Excavation & Grab Action
The harrow-tooth rake mechanism is the defining operational feature of this attachment. The heavy-duty rake teeth are engineered to penetrate directly into loose, compacted, and semi-cohesive materials — including soil, gravel, demolition rubble, green waste, agricultural produce, and mixed bulk materials.
The self-penetrating rake action allows the forklift to excavate and collect material from piles, windrows, and ground-level deposits without requiring a separate machine to pre-load the grab. The 500mm rake width and massive 0 to 1,792mm opening range provide the jaw spread required to handle a wide variety of irregular material volumes and large debris (such as tree stumps, concrete chunks, and entangled wire) that standard buckets cannot easily capture.
Integrated Hydraulic Tilt — 45° Forward / 25° Backward
The integrated hydraulic tilt function provides 45 degrees of forward tilt and 25 degrees of backward tilt, controlled directly from the forklift cab. This capability enables the operator to:
- Tilt backward (25°): retain loose material securely within the grab/bucket during travel over uneven ground, preventing spillage over the front edge.
- Tilt forward (45°): precisely orient the grab to pour or deposit material at a controlled angle into trucks, hoppers, or processing equipment — a level of placement precision that a fixed-orientation grab cannot achieve.
Optional Bucket Configuration — Ultimate Multi-Function Versatility
The operational versatility of this attachment is further extended by the optional bucket configuration, which allows the carriage mounting to support a bucket attachment beneath the rake grab (acting as a "Movable Thumb Kit"). This enables the operator to switch between grabbing irregular debris and scooping loose bulk materials within the same work cycle.
This bucket-on option is highly valuable on mixed-use construction and demolition sites where both loose bulk scooping (sand/gravel) and irregular load grabbing (rubble/timber) are required, eliminating the need to physically change attachments.
Class 3A Configurations | 3–3.5T & 4–4.5T Options
The system operates at a working pressure of 16 MPa with a hydraulic flow requirement of 60 LPM. It is available in two widths tailored to host forklift capacities:
| Model | Suit Forklift | Class | Dimensions W×D×H (mm) | Rake Width (mm) | Opening Range (mm) | Weight (kg) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| F-DBPZJ-3A30 | 3–3.5 T | 3A | 1,200×3,341×1,646 | 500 | 0–1,792 | 808 |
| F-DBPZJ-3A40 | 4–4.5 T | 3A | 1,350×3,341×1,646 | 500 | 0–1,792 | 856 |
3 Auxiliary Hydraulic Circuits Required
Like the Leather Grab, this attachment requires three independent auxiliary hydraulic circuits (valves) on the host forklift to enable full independent control of:
- Rake opening and closing (Grab)
- Forward and backward tilt (Tilt)
- Additional actuation (Bucket/Thumb option)
Applications
- Construction & Demolition sites — excavating and loading rubble, concrete, and site debris
- Landscaping & Forestry — collecting and transporting green waste, logs, and root balls
- Agricultural operations — handling bulk produce, silage, and loose feed
- Waste processing facilities — sorting mixed waste and bulk refuse
- Industrial yards — multi-phase bulk material loading and site cleanup
Key Features
- Harrow-tooth rake mechanism — penetrates compacted and loose materials
- Movable Thumb Kit configuration — combines grabbing with optional bucket scooping
- Hydraulic tilt — 45° forward pour / 25° backward retention
- 0 to 1,792mm massive opening range
- Class 3A carriage mount — for 3–4.5 tonne forklifts
- Requires 3 auxiliary hydraulic circuits
- 16 MPa / 60 LPM hydraulic parameters
- 808–856kg attachment weight — heavy-duty construction
Technical Drawing

1. 3 Auxiliary Circuits Required: This multi-function attachment requires three independent auxiliary hydraulic circuits (3rd, 4th, and 5th valves) on the forklift to operate grab, tilt, and thumb functions simultaneously. Confirm your forklift has 3 available auxiliary circuits before ordering.
2. Heavy Attachment Warning (808- 856 kg): The attachment itself weighs over 800kg and pushes the load centre forward significantly. Consult your forklift's de-rated capacity chart to ensure safe operation before attempting to lift heavy rubble or wet materials.
3. Carriage Class Verification: Confirm your forklift has an ISO Class 3A carriage. Do not mount this attachment on Class 2A or Class 4A carriages.
