LANDYINDUS Hydraulic Water Pipe & PVC Pipe Clamp | 45° Tilt | 0–2,450mm Opening | Class 3A (3–3.5T) | Requires 2 Aux Circuits
The LANDYINDUS Hydraulic Water Pipe and PVC Pipe Clamp is a precision-engineered forklift attachment designed for the safe, controlled, and damage-free handling of water pipes, PVC pipes, plastic pipes, concrete pipes, and large-diameter conduit sections. Designed for Class 3A forklifts in the 3–3.5 tonne range, this hydraulic pipe clamp provides the controlled clamping force and massive opening range required for residential, commercial, and civil infrastructure construction projects.
Controlled Clamping Force — Damage-Free Handling for Plastic & PVC
Unlike steel pipes that can withstand extreme compression, PVC, plastic, and thin-walled concrete pipes require a more controlled, evenly distributed clamping force. The hydraulic clamping mechanism on this attachment is specifically calibrated for these sensitive materials.
The clamp jaw geometry is designed to conform to the curved outer surface of individual pipes and pipe bundles. This distributes the clamping force broadly across the pipe surface to prevent localised deformation, surface marking, and structural cracking to PVC and plastic pipe walls during lifting and transport. This surface-conforming grip ensures that pipes arrive at their installation destination free from indentations that could compromise joint integrity.
0 to 2,450mm Opening Range — From Residential to Municipal Mains
The massive full opening range of 0 to 2,450mm accommodates the complete spectrum of standard water pipe and PVC conduit diameters:
- Small-diameter: Residential water supply pipes and drainage conduits (handled in bundles).
- Large-diameter: Municipal water mains, stormwater pipes, and civil infrastructure conduit sections (handled individually).
The operator controls clamp opening and closing directly from the forklift cab, eliminating the manual securing and repositioning steps required with dangerous chain-sling or strap-based pipe handling methods.
Integrated Hydraulic Tilt (45° Forward / 25° Backward) — Trench Laying Capability
The integrated hydraulic tilt function provides 45 degrees of forward tilt and 25 degrees of backward tilt, controlled independently from the forklift cab. This is a critical capability for civil construction and pipeline installation:
- Tilt Forward (45°): Enables precise angular lowering of pipe sections directly into trenches, pipe bedding, and installation positions without manual guidance or secondary positioning equipment.
- Tilt Backward (25°): Retains pipe loads securely within the clamp during travel across uneven construction site terrain and access roads, preventing pipe roll and load shift.
Hydraulic Integration | 16 MPa / 60 LPM
Constructed from high-strength steel plate, the clamp frame and jaw assemblies provide the structural rigidity required to maintain precise jaw alignment across the huge 2.45m opening range. The two-circuit hydraulic system operates at a working pressure of 16 MPa with a flow requirement of 60 LPM. Two auxiliary hydraulic circuits (3rd and 4th valves) are required to operate both the grab and tilt functions.
Applications
- Civil construction sites — handling large-diameter concrete pipes and stormwater mains
- Municipal infrastructure projects — lowering water mains accurately into trenches
- Building material distribution — moving PVC water supply pipe bundles
- Pipeline supply yards — transporting plastic conduit sections
Key Features

Technical Drawing

1. 2 Auxiliary Circuits Required: This attachment requires two independent auxiliary hydraulic circuits (3rd and 4th valves) on the forklift to operate both the pipe clamp and the carriage tilt functions. Confirm your forklift has 2 available auxiliary circuits before ordering.
2. Carriage Class Verification: Confirm your forklift has an ISO Class 3A carriage and is rated in the 3–3.5T capacity range before ordering.
3. Load De-rating: With a maximum opening of 2,450mm, the load centre is pushed significantly forward when handling large-diameter pipes. Always consult your forklift's de-rated capacity chart to ensure safe operation.
