SKU: ME-02T.RPR.230-S30-150

LANDYINDUS Single Shank Excavator Ripper | Tapered Single-Point Maximum Penetration | Replaceable Tooth Tip | S30, S40, S45, S60 & S70 | 1–18T | Hard Ground, Rock, Frozen Ground, Asphalt & Concrete Demolition | 24–492kg

The LANDYINDUS Single Shank Excavator Ripper is a heavy-duty rock and hard ground breaking tool engineered for 1–18 ton excavators, purpose-built to deliver maximum penetration force into compacted soil, frozen ground, hard clay, fractured rock, asphalt surfaces, and concrete demolition applications where standard excavator buckets cannot achieve effective penetration or productive material breakout.

Single-Point Tapered Shank — Full Hydraulic Force Concentrated at One Penetration Point

The tapered single shank design concentrates the full hydraulic force of the excavator into a single high-pressure penetration point, delivering superior rock fracturing, soil ripping, and material loosening performance compared to multi-tooth rippers on hard, compacted, or layered ground materials. Multi-tooth rippers distribute force across several points — on very hard ground, this reduces penetration depth per tooth. The single shank focuses 100% of available hydraulic force at one point for maximum penetration in the hardest conditions.

Replaceable Tooth Tip — Fast On-Site Wear Part Replacement, Minimum Downtime

The replaceable ripper tooth tip allows fast on-site wear part replacement to minimize downtime and extend overall attachment service life on high-cycle demolition and quarry operations. The tooth tip is the highest-wear component on any ripper — a replaceable tip means the operator replaces only the worn tip rather than the entire shank, significantly reducing wear part costs and eliminating the need to remove the attachment from the machine for tip replacement.

Single Shank Ripper vs Multi-Tooth Ripper vs Hydraulic Breaker — When to Use Each

Ground Condition Multi-Tooth Ripper Single Shank Ripper (This) Hydraulic Breaker
Compacted soil / hard clay Good Excellent — single point, deep penetration Overkill
Frozen ground Limited Excellent — concentrated force breaks freeze bond Good
Fractured/layered rock Poor Good — levers fracture planes apart Excellent
Asphalt demolition Limited Good — penetrates and levers asphalt slabs Good
Concrete demolition Poor Good for cracked/thin concrete Excellent for reinforced
Root/stump uprooting Good Excellent — single point levers under root ball Not suitable
Agricultural subsoil ripping Good Excellent — deep single-pass penetration Not suitable

Shank Size Scaled to Excavator Class — 24kg (1T) to 492kg (18T)

The ripper series scales precisely with machine weight — from compact 24kg units for 1–2 ton mini excavators through to 492kg heavy-duty shanks for 16–18 ton machines — ensuring that ripping force, shank geometry, and structural strength are matched to the excavator’s hydraulic output and operating weight for maximum efficiency and minimum stress on the machine arm.

⚠️ Selection Note: Two models available for S60 (10–14T) — specify required penetration depth when ordering. S30-150 variant suits 1T machines only. Do not fit a lighter model to a heavier machine — shank geometry and structural strength are matched to the excavator class. Contact us to confirm the correct model for your machine and application.
